Familiarization practice in the AN-21 group has ended

 In the period from October 3 to October 16, 2022, students of the AN-21 group underwent an introductory practice in the first specialty, in English. The defense of the practice was held on October 28, 2022. Banu Felicia, PhD, university lecturer of Foreign Languages Department, was the scientific adviser from the university.

Introductory internship in English was held on the basis of the Comrat Lyceum named after G. Gaidarzhi. Thanks to this practice, students got the opportunity to join the practical work with schoolchildren. They acquired a number of practical skills that in the future will allow them to realize themselves as a teacher. Students’ ideas about pedagogical activity have significantly expanded and changed. It was also possible to get acquainted with practical developments and various technologies for working with school-age children.

During the introductory practice, students analyzed 8 passive English lessons. Based on the results, they issued a practice diary.

During the practice, students had to stay at the educational institution daily according to the schedule in accordance with the long-term plan. The students completed all types of work provided for by the internship program.

In the course of practice, they got an idea about the conditions for organizing the educational process, gained the ability to plan and systematize their own activities, and rationally distribute the load.

The purpose of the practice was to develop students’ professional skills and abilities, as well as to form the experience of professional and pedagogical activity. The following practical tasks were carried out:

  1. To form an idea of ​​the essence of the pedagogical activity of an English teacher.
  2. Improve the system of scientific knowledge in the field of pedagogical disciplines and private methods.
  3. To develop pedagogical thinking, the ability to identify, analyze, describe and predict psychological and pedagogical phenomena, facts, patterns.
  4. Update value orientations in the field of pedagogical science and practice.
