On November 10, 2023, in the Senate Hall of Comrat State University, a conference was held within the framework of the Educational Diplomacy Seminars of the Education Advisory Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau. Prof. Dr. Vahit Türk, a teacher from Turkey, held the conference on the topic "Gagauz Turkish language on the verge of oblivion and what needs to be done". He spoke about the importance of the Gagauz language and its preservation from generation to generation.

Adnan Hayal, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Comrat, and Cengiz Güzeluk, Education Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau, were the guests of honor at the conference. The conference was also attended by teachers and students of the Comrat State University.

The conference concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Vahit Turk.
